Each year the Visit Wagga Wagga team deliver a series of seasonal campaigns, publications and events to build destination awareness and encourage visitations to our Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region.

Out for Adventure micro-adventure series
About: A collaborative micro-adventure series in collaboration with the adventure specialists at Tom's Outdoors and the following regional shires:
- Greater Hume Council
- Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council
- Snowy Valleys Council (pictured)
- Coolamon Shire Council
- Lockhart Shire Council
Each adventure is designed to be affordable, exciting, refreshing, sometimes challenging, rewarding and fit around busy lives – making them perfect for anyone. Some can be done in a few hours, some are overnight ventures. They have been curated across all seasons, meaning, no matter what time of year you visit our region there’s a micro-adventure for you.

A Very Wagga Wagga Giftmas
About: 'A Very Wagga Wagga Giftmas' brought a sleigh-load of festive cheer with an interactive digital advent calendar hosted on the Visit Wagga Wagga website. Each day in December revealed a new prize, celebrating local tourism businesses and inspiring visitors and community with unique Christmas gifting ideas from Wagga Wagga + Surrounds.
Primary channels: Website, social media, YouTube, local radio.
Target market: Visitors + community
Outcomes:
- 17 incredible prizes from Wagga Wagga + Surrounds Tourism Partner businesses (valued at over $6,000).
- 6,900 competition entries.
- 10,000 views on the campaign webpage - the highest performing page on the Visit Wagga Wagga website during the campaign.

Mic'd Up series
About: Mic’d Up was a digital video campaign that offered a fun, behind-the-scenes look at some of the unique tourism experiences across the Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region. Filmed in an unscripted, light-hearted style from the perspective of a visitor, each episode captured the authentic vibe of local attractions while highlighting the people and stories behind them.
