Each year the Visit Wagga Wagga team deliver a series of seasonal campaigns, publications and events to build destination awareness and encourage visitations to our Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region.
Campaigns
Double the Fun
About: A 12-month tourism campaign aimed at transforming Wagga Wagga into a visitor-attracting destination. It shows iconic locations, signature experiences, unique attractions, unexpected discoveries and to double-down on fun.
Primary channel: Double the Fun was delivered via a range of digital and print mediums, in fun, sophisticated means, and will be grounded by an 80-second hero video that is original, optimistic and unmistakably Wagga Wagga.
Target market: Visitors + community
Outcomes:
Since launching on October 14, 2025, the campaign has amassed:
- More than 231,000 organic views on Instagram and Facebook
- Reached more than 61,000 accounts (increase of 130% and 302% on our average Instagram and Facebook reach respectively)
- More than 300 views have been recorded on the Visit Wagga Wagga YouTube channel
- Campaign page on visitwagga.com has more than 2500 visitors, the second highest performing page on the site for the past fortnight
- Visit Wagga Wagga has received almost 200 new followers across Facebook and Instagram since campaign launch

A Very Wagga Wagga Giftmas
About: ‘Welcome to A Very Wagga Wagga Giftmas 🎁! It’s gifting season! And, we have a sleigh load of local gifts you can WIN this festive season. Each day in December revealed a new prize, celebrating local tourism businesses and inspiring visitors and community with unique Christmas gifting ideas from Wagga Wagga + Surrounds.’

Outcomes:
- 14 participating tourism businesses from Wagga Wagga + Surrounds Tourism Partner Program businesses (valued at more $2500).
Second Season
About: A two-year program designed to diversify the agritourism and hospitality industry in Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region.
Primary channels: A practical, hands-on program combining masterclasses (pictured), tailored mentorships, front-of-house micro skills, HR support services and real-world experiences.
