Sustainable festivals

Spring Jam encourages a sustainable festival ground.

Not only do we want to maintain the beautiful amenity of our Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, we also want to consider our environmental footprint. Spring Jam encourages packing a picnic and asking people to think about packaging and rubbish on the day – bring snacks in reusable containers, wrap sandwiches or fruit in beeswax wraps, pack a water bottle.

A number of our program offerings feature sustainable practices. Our food vendors have been encouraged to consider packaging. Merchandise and workshop materials on the day will also be limited to prevent waste. We thank our festival-goers for helping support this sustainable festival approach.
