Back to our roots

If Covid-19 has taught us anything, it's that we don't have to go without in our Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region - largely thanks to our amazing local producers and suppliers.

Travel restrictions keeping us in our own backyards, social distancing for health reasons, and import and postage delays or stoppages have all made us think a little differently about how and where we, as consumers, source our products and produce.

These limitations have made us get 'back to our roots' by supporting businesses on our doorstep. Simple pastimes like purchasing direct from the ‘farm gate’ or heading to the local butcher, baker, deli or supplier for produce and products has increased recently.

Our hope is that these simple actions of shopping and supporting local will continue post Covid-19. There are so many wonderful grassroots businesses in our Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region and we want you to hear their stories. By sharing these stories below we hope you get more of a personal insight into their business and how shopping local helps us all.
