For those wanting a more leisurely experience, the Wiradjuri Trail is a 42km loop around the city that takes you past waterways, wetlands, sculptures and stunning landscape. The track is perfect for both walkers and bike riders. The most popular, and scenic, section, winds along Tarcutta Street following the Murrumbidgee River, past the Visitor Information Centre around to Riverside: Wagga Beach. From here continue west, passing by the Cadell Place murals along to Wiradjuri Reserve and through to Marrambidya Wetland. You can even cross the road here and pick your own strawberries at Bidgee Strawberries and Cream (open seasonally from October to April).
