The Rock Hill Nature Reserve
The Rock New South Wales 2655
The Rock Nature Reserve (Kengal) is one of the best known landmarks in the Riverina.
Rising 364m above the plains, it is a great area for bushwalking, abseiling and nature lovers.
Panoramic views from the top are worth the 3-hour return hike - to the west the patchwork of farmland stretches into the distance, while to the east rolling hills and ranges provide a stunning vista, including Mt Kosciuszko on a clear day.
Newly installed facilities include interpretative boards and picnic facilities including fresh water, barbecues, shelters, tables and toilets.
There are things to do for everyone at the reserve.
