In the CBD
- Narrung Street: Fenced area located at Narrung Street
- Wilks Park: The eastern side of Wilks Park North Wagga Wagga. The area is bounded by Parkan Pregan Lagoon, Hampden Avenue and the Island Lane
- Marrambidya Wetland: Dogs welcome on leads
- Wiradjuri Walking Track (pictured below): Dogs welcome on leads
- City parks (Collins Park pictured above): Dogs welcome on leads
A little further out
- Willans Hill: Parts of the Willans Hill reserve area south of Lord Baden Powell Drive to east of Captain Cook Drive, and all of the reserve between Leavenworth Drive and Red Hill Road
- Botanic Gardens: Dogs welcome on leads – no entry in the zoo and aviary
- O'Halloran Park: A fenced agility track near Lake Albert
- Lake Albert Boat Club: The boat club reserve between Plumpton Road and the Boat Club Carpark on the southern side of Nelson Road
- Lake Albert Walking Track: Dogs welcome on leads
- Pomingalarna Reserve: Dogs welcome on leads
The suburbs
- Forest Hill: The land running between Kurrajong Avenue at the intersection of Cypress St and the western edge of the RAAF base
- Explorer Park: The city’s newest off-leash area in the growing area of Boorooma in the north
- San Isidore: Norman Duck Oval - shared sportsground. Fenced area available when not in use by Kyeamba Kennel & Training Club
