Take a risk or play it safe. It’s your choice…
Ever wanted to dive with sharks but been too afraid?  Don’t be!
Come close to a Great White without getting wet at a new shark cage dive experience, created by world-renowned puppeteers, Erth. Plunge into the world of sharks and choose your own audio adventure as you dive below the surface and come face-to-face with these majestic creatures. Move through the building in an immersive theatre experience like you have never seen at the Civic Theatre before.
Will your performance soundtrack have you marvelling in awe at their serene beauty, or be a high-energy, thrill-filled escapade? The decision is yours. No diving experience needed, but keep your eyes peeled and your mind open.

Winter Lantern Festival | 6 July 
Join a 'Festival of W'-inspired event, ErinEarth style! The gardens will be lit up, the stage will be set, and the vibes will be flowing.
This NAIDOC week the fire is burning, all night long. Hot food and drinks will be available for purchase on the night.

Wagga Wagga Art Gallery

Winter exhibition launch | 6 July 
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery are celebrating the opening of their winter exhibitions. Three new shows presenting new works from local and Australian artists - Desert paintings of APY Lands in Nganampa Ngura Inmatjara: Our Country, Our Song; New painting and ceramics from Paul Williams and Kellie Hulm of The Art Factory; Fascinating textiles and sculptures of Inga Hanover.
Enjoy a Civic Welcome by Cr Dallas Tout, Mayor of City of Wagga Wagga, smoking ceremony led by Luke Wighton. Also hear from guest speakers, artists travelling from the APY Lands.

Art after dark | 13 July 
During Festival of W, you’ll have the chance to experience Wagga Wagga Art Gallery after hours to see the newly launched winter exhibitions. There are three new shows presenting works form local and Australian artists - see listing above for more details. The gallery will be opening late on Saturday 13 July from 4pm to 8pm.

The Curious Rabbit

Tales of the Wanderer for Festival of W | 13 July 
New album launch ‘Tales of the Wanderer’. This immersive musical experience reflects a diverse range of musical styles: from jazz to folk, Aztec to electronic. Listen where heavy drumbeats meet killer flute solos, bassoons and bass guitars, cymbals, and synthesisers. Each of these sounds tell a story in conjunction with ambient sounds soundscapes and eclectic musical ideas.
