FoW Winter Watercolour Workshop | 13 July
Immerse yourself in a creative watercolour experience and draw inspiration from the vibrant lights and enchanting winter nights at FOW 2025.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore a variety of watercolour techniques—such as soft washes, colour mixing, and using resist materials like masking fluid and wax—to create your own magical winter landscape. Experiment with fluorescent and metallic pigments, along with phosphorescent ink, to capture the shimmering light displays at the lagoon. Add glowing highlights and luminous details that bring your artwork to life.
Session price includes tuition, materials, soup and warm refreshments.

Art after dark. The Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and Glass Gallery will be open after hours on selected days during Festival of W. Enjoy the celebratory exhibition 50 Years / 50 Treasures in the main gallery.

Museum of the Riverina
Need a space to take chill out and warm up during Festival of W? Step into The Museum of the Riverina – Historic Council Chambers Site.
Relax in our Chill Out Chamber — complete with bean bags, colouring-in, and origami (NOTE: Closed Fri 11 - Mon 14 July). While you’re here you can also wander through the nostalgic Wagga Wagga AUDIO/VISUAL exhibition and take a trip down memory lane.
