Phoebe Pinnock and Steve Watts return to Wagga Wagga after ten years in Melbourne ruling the stages of heavy metal and hard rock in their now world renowned band HEAVEN THE AXE. As songwriters the duo met 18 years ago, started writing music together and as all good guitarist-meets-singer stories, fall wildly in love and document the whole journey in original songs. They built an enraptured following in the hey-day of the infamous Wagga live music venues the Tourist, Red Lion, Palm and Pawn and No 96.

With their band they headlined some of the most notorious Australian hard rock/metal festivals and performed on some of the world’s biggest stages such as Hammersonic International Metal Fest in Indonesia, supporting acts such as Lamb of God, Zakk Wyldes Black Label Society, Sebastian Bach and writing the soundtrack for Pauly Fenech's “Housos”, “Bogan Hunters” and associated movies, they return to their roots in the country to enjoy their true passion – their honest original acoustic rock duo.
