The finest colonial mansion in the Riverina and South West New South Wales, Monte Cristo was built in 1884, and is faithfully restored and furnished in the high Victorian era circa 1840 to 1900.

The homestead features a wonderful collection of antiques, an extensive carriage collection, as well as a wheelwright's shop which manufactures all kinds of carriage wheels.

Classified as the "Most Haunted House in Australia", visitors are dared to book for an evening ghost tour - they are extremely popular so you must book in advance.

Join them in September as they host the annual Monte Cristo Haunted Ball. Starting in 1973 it is the longest running private period costume ball of its type in the southern hemisphere.

They cater for bus tours, dinners and luncheons. Special functions can also be arranged in advance.

Enjoy a Devonshire tea and a living picture of middle class life in Victorian times.
