The Apple Thief

The passionate brewers at Batlow’s The Apple Thief are crushing it … literally.

A new cidery (in 2022) in the home of one of Australia’s best apple-growing regions, Batlow, means The Apple Thief can crush their own orchard-grown apples on site – with a goal of crushing between 30 to 40 tonnes of apples per month!

The 100 percent fruit juice that comes from this process is what goes straight into The Apple Thief’s refreshingly, delicious range of ciders.

The brewing, bottling and distributing all happens on-site too, meaning this product is insanely fresh and sustainable.

The Wagga Wagga + Surrounds tourism team have teamed up with The Apple Thief for the COLLABS campaign creating the limited premium release Apple & Sour Cherry Cider.

This limited release cider is made with a signature five-apple blend with The Apple Thief’s own orchard-grown Amarelle Sour Cherries added to the mix for that extra zing.

This fizzy, fresh new season release is best served with mates, on a warm summer evening.

Alcoholic volume – 8%
330ml cans
Tasting notes: Made from Amarelle Sour Cherries grown in The Apple Thief orchard not far from the cider apples in Batlow. Refreshingly acidic, a burst of sour cherry flavour over fizzy apple cider. Sessionable summer fun.
