Sew Me Australia
There really is ‘sew’ much to love about a handmade and designed garment.
As a young girl Jess Keller from Wagga Wagga’s Sew Me Australia would watch in awe as her grandmother would handmake beautiful pieces of clothing.
From grandma’s hands, to saving up and purchasing her own sewing machine at the age of 17, Jess now makes a living out of teaching and inspiring others to sew.
Originally self-taught, Jess has qualifications in fashion design and dressmaking. She kick-started Sew Me Australia three years ago and earlier this year relocated to a bigger studio space to accommodate her growing business and popular sewing classes.
The Wagga Wagga + Surrounds tourism team have teamed up with Sew Me Australia for the COLLABS campaign creating the super limited edition Rewind Wagga Wagga bomber jackets.
These so-fly, uni-sex retro bombers are a throw-back to the 90s and have been inspired by the ‘Wagga Wagga, so good we named it twice’ retro branding – a feature a brand patch on the arm.
Completely handmade by Jess, the one-of-a-kind bombers are the perfect, stylish (and cosy) Wagga Wagga memento.
