It’s whisky business, but someone has to do it.

The family unit behind Ladbroken Distilling Co. took the plunge into small-batch botanical spirit and liqueur making in 2020, and they haven’t looked back.

After visiting Tumbarumba in the Snowy Mountains region, husband and wife duo Neil and Robbie Ladbrook knew this would be where their distilling venture would become a reality.

More than two years on and Ladbroken Distilling Co. have gathered a strong regional base, and with a recently opened distillery cellar door and growing online presence it’s onwards and upwards for this spirited family business.

Visit Wagga Wagga has teamed up with Ladbroken Distilling Co. for the COLLABS campaign to create the flavour-packed Summer BBQ Gin Salt.

Featuring dried gin botanicals from Ladbroken’s special release blood orange gin (made from locally grown and sourced produce), this tasty jar of wonder means it’s summer all year round.

The essence of the blood orange gin is captured, dehydrated, ground and blended with Australian sea salt and pink rock salt to create the perfect meat rub, dish seasoning or cocktail garnish to celebrate the best of the Wagga Wagga + Surrounds region.

Repurposing the spent botanicals into this spicy creation also makes it zero-waste.
