Bush dyeing workshop for autistic youth

A dyed scarf with some native leaves
Come along to a school holiday workshop with Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare and Murrumbidgee Landcare!

Enjoy a morning of bush dyeing led by Gomeroi artist Debbie Wood.

You can choose either a t-shirt or scarf to dye. You can even incorporate natural objects into your dyeing, such as leaves, flowers and seedpods.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn to weave your own bracelet while your item soaks in the dye!

All materials will be supplied.

This workshop is perfect for young autistic people aged 12 to 24 years. Younger autistic children are welcome but will require parental supervision.

Please bring a hat and a water bottle.

This workshop has been proudly funded by the NSW Government, a Bulk Gives Back grant and the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a collaboration of Local Land Services and Landcare NSW supported by the NSW Government.
