Wagga Wagga Relay for Life

Judy Wagga Wagga Relay for Life is an inspiring force in the fight against cancer. Led by a small, dedicated volunteer committee, the annual relay event brings the local community together to raise funds for cancer research and critical support services for patients and families.

Their tireless efforts create a sense of unity, resilience, and hope among participants. The event celebrates those who are cancer-free, remembers those lost and raises awareness about cancer prevention and early detection.

The committee's passion and commitment shine through in their fundraising and participant engagement, creating a powerful and uplifting experience.

This year’s relay will have a festival atmosphere with something for everyone, including live entertainment, survivors and carers morning tea and carnival games along with the traditional relay events including a survivors and carers afternoon tea and Hope ceremony.

Relay is like a choose-your-own-adventure, whether it be dropping in to enjoy some games, participating in the opening ceremony, listening to some music, grabbing some snacks from our food vendors or setting up a picnic area and staying for the whole event.

Funds raised at Wagga Relay For Life are invested into the four key pillars – research, prevention, support services and advocacy.
