Be quick! The race is on. The first 100 to sign up to the Hike + Seek challenge and complete a challenge can present their username at the Wagga Wagga Visitor Information Centre and claim an edible medal. Choose from either a delicious Wagga Map cookie made by Dough Re Mi or a mini chocolate freckle from Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory.

Q: What can I expect from a Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga challenge?
A: The Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga challenges involve visiting public Wagga Wagga locations and checking-in using your mobile device’s GPS, answering trivia questions about the unique Wagga Wagga location, snapping photos or taking videos of your experience and even scanning QR codes. There are loads of different activities to keep things interesting.
Q: How do I earn Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga challenge points?
A: Each challenge has tasks which are assigned different point values. If something is easy to spot, the points are lower, if you really have to put your seeker hat on, then the points you gain are higher. To gain points complete each task in the challenge successfully.
Q: What’s an appropriate age for playing Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga?
A: To download this app, you must be 13 years of age or older. Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga is designed to be family-friendly, so if younger children want to compete, they will need to do so by being accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. Families can join as one user and play along together.
Due to the nature of some of the challenges and accessing reserves and conservation areas, we strongly recommend anyone under the age of 16 years to be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian when completing challenges. We also recommend reading the terms and conditions of the app before playing along.
Q: What if I am not able to go to some of the more challenging Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga locations?
A: That’s okay! We want to make sure you are safe at all times when playing Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga. If you cannot go to some of the locations, simply move on to other tasks. Unfortunately, you won’t gain points for those tasks.
Q. How long do I have to complete the Hike + Seek Wagga Wagga tasks?
A: You can complete these tasks at your own pace - there's no rush. Wagga Wagga is a large city so pick your starting point and tick them off gradually. Some prize challenges may have a time or date limit so if you wanted to compete for those you might have to be pace yourself a little quicker.
