Introducing the Espresso Corretto. An espresso-based cocktail with a zesty twist. This little number will be your main squeeze all year long - think Jaffa chocolate, mixed with vodka, poured over ice.

This delicious blend is the handiwork of the team at Wagga Wagga’s fine-dining restaurant Pastorale, and the latest installment in the Visit Wagga Wagga COLLABS collection.

Pastorale prides themselves on being innovative and fiercely local - and this cocktail is no exception. The Pastorale team have taken the freshest, hand-batched cold press coffee thanks to Wagga Wagga’s Full Circle Coffee Roasters – so, that’s cold brew made from Wagga Wagga roasted coffee beans and Riverina Fresh milk.

The cold brew is then added with the perfect amounts of Australian vodka and coffee and orange liqueur for the most delicious, fresh yet unashamedly bold cocktail. The Espresso Corretto stands proud in the lineup of Pastorale’s exclusive canned cocktail range.

But, why can cocktails? For Pastorale it was a solution for space and convenience - how do you provide diners with a quality, tasty product without compromising on service time? The answer. You make shake-and-serve cocktails in a can. The innovative product, which is tested, made and batched in-house using their own canning machine at Pastorale, have proven to be very popular - both in the restaurant and as take-aways for a touch of cocktail class at home.

To serve: Shake chilled Espresso Corretto can well, pull back the ring pull lid, pour into chilled stemmed glass of choice. To garnish, delicately place three coffee beans on top and a twist of orange peel – Riverina oranges are our pick!

Did you know? Espresso Corretto is an Italian way of saying "caffeinated alcoholic drink", usually consisting of a shot of espresso with a small amount of liquor. The Pastorale version is a take on this, with an orange twist.
