Join the Riverina Conservatorium of Music’s third annual Festival of Concert Bands! Whether a beginner or experienced, there's something for everyone. This year, featuring Prof. Rob McWilliams and Major Nicolas Buff from the Australian Army Band Kapooka.

Friday - Primary School Band Day: Open to all primary school students with one year or more of playing experience. Free of charge for all school students.

Festival Party in the RCM Carpark: Enjoy music from the RCM Combined Concert Bands and Australian Army Band Kapooka. BYO chair.

Saturday - PD Session 1 with Dr. Rob McWilliams: Focus on rehearsal strategies and conducting principles to enhance musicianship at all levels.

Concert Band Workshop: Two band streams:

Wollundry Ensemble (Grade 2) with Tamara Spencer
Murrumbidgee Band (Grade 4) with Major Nicolas Buff from the Australian Army Band Kapooka
PD Session 2 with Dr. Rob McWilliams: Practical session with live ensemble, focusing on warm-ups, tone, intonation, and internal pulse.

Sunday - Massed Band Rehearsal

Festival Finale Concert: Featuring Primary, Wollundry, and Murrumbidgee ensembles, plus performances by the Riverina Concert Band and Australian Army Band Kapooka, concluding with the Massed Band.
