History of British Rock of the 60s & 70s

History of British Rock of the 60's & 70's
“The Good Old Days Of Rock ’n’ Roll” is an exciting and memory-riddled show presented by Bob McKinnon.

From television shows including Johnny O’Keefe’s “Six O’clock Rock” and Brian Henderson’s “Bandstand”, so many talented performers and recording stars were born. This is not a tribute concert … this is the real deal.

The importance of British Rock through the '60s and '70s can not be overstated. With the British invasion changing the pop landscape in the early '60s, the British Blues revolution took this genre’s music back to Americans in the mid-60s, the iconic seeds of Heavy Rock, delivering a massive stylistic shift in the late '60s, and Glam, Punk and pure Rock and Roll consistently leading the charge through the '70s, British Rock through this era can easily be seen as some of the most important music of the rock generation.
