What's On Spring 2017

Gears and Beers, Wagga Wagga

Whether you are a family, a couple or a sole explorer, Wagga Wagga’s spring events calendar offers visitors a multitude of experiences.

Wagga is great excuse for a weekend getaway and spring is perfect for a drive or cycle through picturesque farming landscapes and unique regional towns and villages before arriving in a city bursting with blossoms and spring gardens.

Love to cycle? Throughout spring there’s an abundance of events on offer, whether you’re a beginner, pro or somewhere in between.

Located on the city fringe, Pomingarlarna Reserve offers a bush setting ideal for mountain biking. The Wagga 6 Hour Evocities Mountain Bike Enduro kicks off the spring cycling in September with a fun, flowing 13 kilometre course while for a more relaxed cycle, join in on the 10 kilometre Wagga Lake Run and Ride, a fun morning for the whole family.

Looking for more of a challenge? The annual Gears and Beers Festival (pictured above) on the October long weekend kicks off with cycling over distances from nine kilometres up to the famous Dirty 130 event.

The Spring What's On Guide will be released in August 2017. Until then, you can check out all the events online through the links below.
