Promoting your event
Events can bring hundreds or even thousands of visitors to the city, injecting money into our local economy and making Wagga Wagga a great place to live, work, invest and play.
The City of Wagga Wagga supports events by producing a calendar of events for the local government area. If you're holding an event, we want to hear about it! You can submit details on any significant event you are staging which would be of interest to local residents and visitors.
Below are details on the ways we promote events registered with us. Please note: Inclusion in the promotions listed below may be subject to space restrictions and whether the event is relevant to the audience for a particular promotional medium.

A weekly City of Wagga Wagga publication, Council News is available online and distributed by email each Friday. It is also published on Saturdays in the Weekend Advertiser and the following Wednesday in The Leader.
Each week, a list of upcoming events (Saturday to Friday) is included. While we endeavour to include as many events as possible, due to space restrictions, not all can be included.
