Paper Pattern Print Workshop

Wagga Wagga Paper Pattern PrintSat 24 Jun 2017

Time: 10am to 1pm

Emily Wills is bringing her Paper Pattern Print workshop to Wagga Wagga, supported by the Wagga Wagga City Council as part of her 2017 public art commission. Commissioned to design and install a wallpaper in the Sister City Walkway celebrating Wagga Wagga's special relationship with its three sister cities; Kunming, Leavenworth and Nördlingen, Emily will share her design process through her hands-on, signature surface design workshop. Emily will guide you through the creative process of motif and basic unit design, and demonstrate how to turn these into repeat patterns using an app on your smartphone or tablet. You'll play with scale and repetition, create gorgeous surface design artwork and ready to go digital files for printing your designs onto paper or cloth. This workshop has a minimum age requirement of 16 years.
