Making quilts for warmth has been a long tradition in Australia.

This lecture with Dr. Dianne Firth shows that quilts can also be appreciated as art.

Dr. Firth will show how inspiration from the land and patterns of nature have allowed her and other Australian quilters to show that quilts can be appreciated as art and this has developed into a strong and vital art form.
