April 2018 Highlights
We’re now in the middle of autumn. Burst of oranges and reds are starting to appear in the trees and the sun is setting earlier.
The temperature is also milder, which makes venturing out and about in Wagga Wagga even more enticing.
For the month of April, Fresh: Ideas. Insights. Perspectives. is running in Wagga Wagga. Fresh combines the best of Youth Week and Seniors Festival into the one celebration. Try your hand at something new, like wild brush making or style your own floral arrangement.
Fresh also has the school holidays covered. Pack the bike, scooter or skateboard – don’t forget the helmet – and make a beeline for the Bolton Park skate park. Sydney-based company Branch Nebula will be bringing their professional skateboard, BMX and parkour skills to Wagga.
The kids can also get crafty learning how to make their own bespoke jewellery, earrings or necklaces, out of cardboard or have some fashion fun with eco-stylist Alex Van Os during her Op Shop to Runway sessions (for 12-years and up).
There's a huge mix of events and activities for the kids in Wagga these school holidays. See the full list of events and activities and start planning the two-week break now.
Round out the month by enjoying a browse through the great markets on offer in the city.
